A-Team?

Finally, Miss Tea decided to buckle down and watch the A-Team version 2.0 after much torment as to whether it would be as good as the '80s series. Mind you, Miss Tea was a fan of those renegages (and okay, Miss Tea had a little crush on Face).

Well, Miss Tea must say, the casting was spot on but the storyline - eh. Moviemakers included some quips that references the old series and plugged in the familiar tunes where needed, but for some reason, Miss Tea was not feeling it. I mean, Mister T having issues about killing people and exploring his inner peace? WTF?

Perhaps Miss Tea is just getting older and nostalgic for the original. (In fact, someone should really think about bringing back MacGyver).

One character that impressed Miss Tea was Murdock, played by District 9 lead Sharlto Copley, who added the right imbalance of 10% logical, 10% mental, 80% insane. Miss Tea even finds him more attractive than Face, played by Bradley Cooper (okay, you haters stop. BC's fine but just a little too damn pretty and typically plays the player. Yawn.).

Anyhoo, compare the fellas for yourself and let me know what you think!

It's the Re-launch of "The Adventures of Miss Tea"!

Yes, yes, I know. I've been bad. Very bad. I haven't been writing and you've been at a loss. I'm sure you've been plagued with wonder, continuously asking yourself, "What happened to Miss Tea?"

Never you mind, my dearies. Miss Tea is just fine and has been working on a few new projects. Miss Tea has also been traveling - she just returned from Italia (Viva la Roma!).

With a renewed spirit (and a new color scheme template), Miss Tea is re-launching her dear blog so that inquiring minds (that's you) can still be in the know.

Don't worry. Miss Tea is back! ;o)

What Miss Tea Wants Now: Chanel Tattoos

Sooooo sorry, sweeties. Miss Tea has been absent after a little mental draining episode from work (where else). This recession is such a downer but Miss Tea has found things to lighten up her spirits.....like Chanel Tattoos!!!

In the teme of NYC Fashion Week, Miss Tea heard about this little gem: Chanel is offering Tattos and Miss Tea wants one. Super, uber sexy, these tattoos are perfect for evening wear or hell, save them for summer!

On the leg, an the arm, around the neck...gorgeous! Miss Tea particularly likes the detail which gives off the look of old-fashion stocking pull-ups.

Okay, so Miss Tea's legs don't look like these. But hey, Miss Tea is sure to get compliements...or at least turn a few heads.

A set of 55 tattoos retail at approximately $78 USD. Chanel Tattoos will be available in March 2010.

Desire: Louboutin Pumps

It hurts her heart to say this, but Miss Tea is *sigh* high maintenance. "What?" you ask?

Unfortunately in this current enviroment of economic recession and earthquake emergency aid, Miss Tea's very small and sparing change (until her employer realizes her true worth - yeah, that's a hint, guys) will go to a more noble cause rather than ...*tear* the Louboutin pumps she saw over the weekend.

Mind you, Miss Tea is nowhere near the target of Monsieur Christian Louboutin or his wares. In fact, she more like the spec of mud, that happened on a pebble, that somehow gained traction on a mud that stuck to a pair of Louboutins during a "perilous storm", a mere accident. Hence, Miss Tea's debut as the swarmy fly in Bergdorf Goodman, excited about the "sale" rack.

Studio 120 - Ivory - $1,895.00 USD

Beaute Strass - Pink - $2,225.00

Hyper Prive - Nude $865.00 USD

Sale, my ass.

But Miss Tea digresses, and turns to her new mantra: "I am not Jennifer Lopez. I cannot afford to say or sing, 'I'm throwing on my Louboutins.'"

Incidentally, J.Lo hunny if you're reading this...straight guys do not know what Louboutins are. But then again, you already knew that. ;o)

Go on, sing it girl: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJgEvoRgg3Y

The Last Station - NY Film Premiere

Ah, Miss Tea is in demand by her public! Okay, not exactly true but a girl can dream. :o)

Last week, Miss Tea and pubLiZity attended the premiere of The Last Station, a beautiful film about the last days of Leo Tolstoy and his wife. The film stars Christopher Plummer (who Miss Tea will always remember as Capt. Von Trapp) and Helen Mirren (don't miss with The Queen) as well as Paul Giamatti (John Adams) and James McAvoy ... who needs no intro, description or anything else.

Yes, Miss Tea and pubLiZity experienced what it was like to attend a real film screening, although Miss Tea was not allowed on the step-and-repeat wall (and therefore not allowed to snuggle next to any celebs for a glam pic). Still, it was excitement enough just to be in the same room with these actors.

Actually, not all of them where there so let me be more specific. In attendance at our premiere were: Christopher Plummer, Paul Giamatti, James "he's so cute" McAvoy, and Kerry Condon. So here's a little clip of what little video Miss Tea could record from the event, featuring director Michael Hoffman.

Just so you know (not to name-drop, but if Miss Tea must), Paul Giamatti sat right behind us, eating his popcorn and soda. Kelly Condon sat behind him. And James McAvoy sat right behiner her. So we were 2 seats away from James McAvoy. Miss Tea can tell...you are envious. :o)

Bonne Annee! Happy New Year!

Ha! Bet you didn't know that Miss Tea could speak French! Oui, oui!

Best wishes to everyone for a Happy New Year! As for Miss Tea, she's made a few resolutions of her own for 2010:

1. Find Mr. Right / Right Now / Curtis Stone / Gerard Butler

2. Make some serious $$$ (They say money won't make you happy. Miss Tea would like the chance to prove them wrong.)

3. Lose weight - ugh, shocker.

So how did Miss Tea spend her New Year's Eve? Completely sober and in Times Square (no alcohol allowed in Times Square during NYE). Yes, thanks again to pubLiZity, Miss Tea found herself on the NIVEA Kissing Platform in the middle of Times Square among the crowds. As a casted "reveler" - a term only used this time of year - Miss Tea felt like a bona fide acteur, since she had a green room, a kraft table and most importantly, access to a bathroom. (Trust, it could've been worse. Miss Tea saw Aquafina bottles with yellow liquid contents, on the sidewalk...eew.)

Unfortunately, Miss Tea did not get her closeup though F-Dawg swears he saw her doing the can-can on TV (which was true). However, she enjoyed the vibe off the crowd, met Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey, and got a glimpse Ryan Seaquest and Daughtry. And...lookie here what showed up on Getty Images:

For 2010, Miss Tea will let her inner diva out more often. ;o)
