The Last Station - NY Film Premiere

Ah, Miss Tea is in demand by her public! Okay, not exactly true but a girl can dream. :o)

Last week, Miss Tea and pubLiZity attended the premiere of The Last Station, a beautiful film about the last days of Leo Tolstoy and his wife. The film stars Christopher Plummer (who Miss Tea will always remember as Capt. Von Trapp) and Helen Mirren (don't miss with The Queen) as well as Paul Giamatti (John Adams) and James McAvoy ... who needs no intro, description or anything else.

Yes, Miss Tea and pubLiZity experienced what it was like to attend a real film screening, although Miss Tea was not allowed on the step-and-repeat wall (and therefore not allowed to snuggle next to any celebs for a glam pic). Still, it was excitement enough just to be in the same room with these actors.

Actually, not all of them where there so let me be more specific. In attendance at our premiere were: Christopher Plummer, Paul Giamatti, James "he's so cute" McAvoy, and Kerry Condon. So here's a little clip of what little video Miss Tea could record from the event, featuring director Michael Hoffman.

Just so you know (not to name-drop, but if Miss Tea must), Paul Giamatti sat right behind us, eating his popcorn and soda. Kelly Condon sat behind him. And James McAvoy sat right behiner her. So we were 2 seats away from James McAvoy. Miss Tea can tell...you are envious. :o)
